The embodiment of the present invention relates to a method and a device for guiding a route for a visually impaired person in a subway station using visible light communication. Based on guide related information received from a visible light lighting device installed in a subway station and pre-saved route history information, at least one of a recommended route from the subway station to a particular destination and guide related information is selectively provided so that information required by a visually impaired person can be more effectively provided. Also, the visually impaired person can safely reach the destination.
