PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a care supporting device that achieves device control by which a care-receiver is hardly given a feeling of anxiety with simple control.SOLUTION: In a care supporting device 1, attention is paid to two states, that is, when a care-receiver S is not riding on a holder 10, and when the care-receiver S is riding on the holder 10, and an operation of an arm 7 is switched by a control part 20 between a first operation limit speed pattern A and a second operation limit speed pattern B according to each state. In consequence, it has become easy to set the speed limit that makes the care-receiver S feel at ease. Since the arm 7 is operated by a determined speed, a feeling of fear or a feeling of anxiety is hardly given to the care-receiver S. Besides, complicated control based on a camera, a temperature sensor, etc. is not required, and the device control by which the care-receiver S is hardly given a feeling of anxiety is achieved with simple control.
