An oil based composition having a smooth sensation of use, which exhibits a superior unevenness correcting effect, and which may be filled in a container which is not airtight, is provided. An oil based composition includes, with respect to 100% by mass of the oil based composition:(a) 1 to 20% by mass of a dextrin fatty acid ester；(b) less than 5% by mass of a volatile oil component having a boiling point of less than or equal to 250° C. at normal pressure；(c) 10 to 60% by mass of a non volatile oil which is a liquid at normal temperature and normal pressure； and(d) 10 to 50% by mass of a silicone resin powder.
