PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a deodorizing filter with excellent durability, used as a filter for a home or business-use air conditioner, air cleaner, or cigarette smoke separator, and as a filter for removing malodor inside a vehicle, etc., and efficiently adsorbing and cleaning especially cigarette odor (acetaldehyde, acetic acid and ammonia).
SOLUTION: The filter with excellent deodorizing capability and durability, and the deodorizing filter having significant deodorizing effects expected especially on the cigarette smoke, can be provided by having a filter material made of porous inorganic substance-blended paper carry a hydrazine compound.
