PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hunting dog selection support system and a hunting dog selection support method which continuously monitor movements of hunting dogs and support selection of an optimal hunting dog according to a purpose of the hunting.SOLUTION: A hunting dog selection support system comprises: a GPS reception device a portable terminal which acquires first position information about positions of hunting dogs, and acquires second position information about a position of its own device and a management device which analyzes and stores types of the hunting dogs. The portable terminal transmits the first position information and the second position information in association with time stamps to the management device. The management device receives the first position information and the second position information, estimates activity areas of the hunting dogs on the basis of the first position information and the second position information, and estimates averages of moving speed of the respective hunting dogs on the basis of the first position information. On the basis of the estimated activity areas and averages of moving speed, the management device classifies and stores pieces of identification information of the hunting dogs, and receives selection of a hunting dog.COPYRIGHT: (C)2015,JPO&INPIT【課題】猟犬の行動を常時監視することにより、猟の目的に応じて、最適な猟犬を選択できるよう支援する猟犬選択支援システム及び猟犬選択支援方法を提供する。【解決手段】本発明に係る猟犬選択支援システムは、GPS受信装置と、猟犬の位置に関する第一の位置情報を取得し、自機の位置に関する第二の位置情報を取得する携帯端末と、猟犬の種類を分析して記憶する管理装置とを備える。携帯端末は、第一の位置情報及び第二の位置情報を、タイムスタンプに対応付けて管理装置へ送信する。管理装置は、第一の位置情報及び第二の位置情報を受信し、第一の位置情報及び第二の位置情報に基づいて、猟犬の活動可能範囲を推算し、第一の位置情報に基づいて、猟犬の移動速度の平均値を推算する。推算された活動可能範囲及び移動速度の平均値に基づいて、猟犬の識別情報を分類して記憶しておき、猟犬の選択を受け付ける。【選択図】図4
