PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wavefront control apparatus which is advantageous to an acquisition of optical property information at a deep position in a scattering medium or in a wide range.SOLUTION: The wavefront control apparatus includes detection means 104 configured to detect a signal generated from a medium which is irradiated with light, and control means 102 and 105 configured to control a wavefront of the light on the basis of an output of the detection means.
