PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cosmetic with agar gel particles dispersed in an aqueous medium, allowing easy collapse of the agar gel particles without remaining fragments in application to the skin, being blended with the aqueous medium and uniformly spreading on the skin, and thus having excellent skin compatibility.SOLUTION: In a cosmetic, agar gel particles containing powder and having an average particle diameter of 0.5 to 10 mm are dispersed in an aqueous medium containing one or more selected from carboxyvinyl polymers and alkyl-modified carboxyvinyl polymers and a natural gum substance.
