Cosmetic and/or pharmaceutical emulsions comprise: (a) alkyl oligoglucosides (b1) fatty alcohols and/or (b2) polyolpoly-12-hydroxy stearates and (c) Guerbet alcohols. The alkyl oligoglucoside is of formula R<1>O-(G)p (I) and the fatty alcohol is of formula R<2>OH (II) R<1> = 8-22C alkyl G = glucose residue p = 1-10 and R<2> = 8-22C aliphatic alkyl. The emulsion especially contains polyglycerinpoly-12-hydroxy stearates and Guerbet alcohols based on 6-22C fatty alcohols.
