Embodiments of the present disclosure generally relate to devices, methods and systems for dispensing and monitoring solid forms of various pharmaceutical, biological and other agents to a subject. In certain embodiments, desktop dispensing devices and systems are provided having the capability to acquire and monitor biometric data before, during, and/or after dispensing solid dosage forms of various pharmaceutical, biological or other monitored agents to a subject.
