To provide a radiographic image display apparatus and an image display method capable of ensuring the speed and accuracy of image reading and also diagnosis.SOLUTION: One aspect of the invention is a radiographic image display apparatus for displaying, on a display screen, a captured image output from an image detection device which detects radiation projected onto a subject and generates a captured image of the detected radiation, the radiographic image display apparatus comprising: a gravity information acquisition unit for acquiring information about the gravity direction； a rotation processing unit for performing a rotation process on the captured image； and a display information generation unit for generating display information about the captured image.
