This apparatus for producing a three-dimensional multilayer model is provided with: a holding unit which holds the conductive powder and a cured three-dimensional multilayer model; an energy application unit which applies energy to the conductive powder that is held by the holding unit; a probe which is arranged at a distance from a surface layer part of the cured three-dimensional multilayer model, and which inspects the surface layer part for flaws; and a probe moving mechanism which relatively moves the probe with respect to the surface layer part. The probe comprises: an excitation coil which generates an eddy current in the surface layer part; and a detection coil which detects a magnetic field change in the surface layer part.
