PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a beehive capable of suppressing rash act of a closing plate from the closed position of a hive gate and preventing bee in a cage body from the anxiety of escaping from the hive gate when transferring the beehive receiving bee in the cage body on a condition of the hive gate closed.SOLUTION: On a beehive 11 having a hive gate 22 on an end wall 12b of a cage body 12, a closing plate 24 for opening and closing the hive gate 22 is turnably set at the end wall 12b of the cage body 12. A locking element 30 for connecting to a notch 28 of a peripheral part of the closing plate 24 to lock the closing plate 24 is set at the end wall 12b of the cage body 12. When the closing plate 24 is positioned at a first position P1, the hive gate 22 is closed with the closing plate 24 and the locking element 30 is made to correspond to be connectable with the notch 28. When the closing plate 24 is positioned at a second position P2, the notch 28 is adjusted to the hive gate 22 so that the hive gate 22 is opened.COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT【課題】巣門の閉鎖状態で箱本体内に蜜蜂を収容して、蜂の巣箱を搬送する際に、閉鎖板が巣門の閉鎖位置から妄動するのを抑制することができて、箱本体内の蜜蜂が巣門から逃げ出すおそれを防止することができる蜂の巣箱を提供する。【解決手段】箱本体１２の端壁１２ｂに巣門２２を設けた蜂の巣箱１１において、箱本体１２の端壁１２ｂには巣門２２を開閉するための閉鎖板２４を回動可能に設ける。箱本体１２の端壁１２ｂには閉鎖板２４の外周部の切欠き２８に係合して閉鎖板２４をロックするためのロック部材３０を設ける。閉鎖板２４が第１の位置Ｐ１に配置されたときには、その閉鎖板２４により巣門２２が閉鎖されるとともに、ロック部材３０が切欠き２８と係合可能に対応するようにする。閉鎖板２４が第２の位置Ｐ２に配置されたときには、切欠き２８が巣門２２に合致して巣門２２が開放されるようにする。【選択図】図５
