PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce time it takes to decontaminate articles to be transferred to a sterilized working chamber, and to allow desirable decontamination mediums and decontamination methods to be selected.SOLUTION: A decontamination operation room is partitioned into a first operation room 31 and a second operation room 32. A connecting section that connects the first operation room and the second operation room can be closed. The pressure of the first operation room 31 and the second operation room 32 is adjusted by pressure adjustment means. When the connection section is opened and the first operation room 31 and the second operation room 32 are connected, an inlet for the first operation room 31 and an outlet for the second operation room 32 are closed and air flow is generated from the second operation room 32 to the first operation room 31 by the pressure adjustment means.
