An apparatus for preparing a cosmetic composition containing an emulsion substance to which a thickener includes a fluid container provided in a housing, which includes an external-phase chamber for storing an external-phase fluid forming the external phase of the emulsion substance, and a dispersed-phase chamber for storing a dispersed-phase fluid forming the dispersed phase of the emulsion substance.
