PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve such a problem that a plurality of discharge rolls and the corresponding feed hoppers situated thereabove and intended to feed powdery granules are laid out to put different kinds of powdery granules in the respective hoppers and spread the powdery granules while unloading them in such a spreading mode, when a powdery granule spreader is used by turning one of spreading switches ON to immediately conduct spreading action, such cases may occur that different kinds of powdery granules other than an intended kind of powdery granules are unloaded simultaneously and/or there is(are) trouble(s) after spread.SOLUTION: The spreader has: a plurality of discharge rolls arranged along the same rotating axis, the corresponding feed hoppers facing above the respective discharge rolls, and a residuals sensor functioning to detect the presence/absence of powdery granules in the respective feed hoppers, or the like.
