The present invention relates to a novel method for preparing cabazitaxel from 10-deacetylbaccatin III, and a novel intermediate therefor, and more specifically, to: a method which allows cabazitaxel to be more easily prepared in a high yield and in a high purity within a short time compared with a conventional method by preparing cabazitaxel via a novel intermediate using 10-deacetylbaccatin III as a starting material, and thus is suitable for industrial mass production and a novel intermediate therefor.본 발명은 10-디아세틸바카틴 III으로부터 카바지탁셀을 제조하는 새로운 방법 및 이를 위한 신규 중간체에 관한 것으로서, 보다 상세하게는 10-디아세틸바카틴 III을 출발 물질로 하여 신규 중간체를 거쳐 카바지탁셀을 제조함으로써, 종래의 기술 대비 보다 짧은 시간에 고수율, 고순도로 보다 용이하게 카바지탁셀을 제조할 수 있어 산업적 대량 생산에 적합한 방법 및 이를 위한 신규 중간체에 관한 것이다.
