PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a drink container which has no possibility of damaging the taste or flavor of a drink, prevents oxidation of drinking water or an existing drink when they are stored in the container, and lowers an oxidoreduction voltage.
SOLUTION: According to the drink container 1, a PET (Polyethylene Terephthalate) bottle 3 is so fixed inside an aluminum container 2 as to form a space 4 of a given volume as a gap between the bottle 3 and the aluminum container 2, and the space 4 is filled with slurry 5 made by dispersing distilled water with gelled micropowder of quartz diorite. When drinking water, isotonic drink, orange juice, carbonated drink, alcoholic drink, or milk is put in the drink container 1 (in the PET bottle 3) and the secular change of an oxidoreduction potential (ORP) is measured with an ORP measuring instrument, the instrument registers a large negative value for every drink, and the ORP negative value is found to be sustainable for a long time except for the cases of the carbonated drink and milk.
