PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a toothbrush that can remove tongue coating as well as interdental plaque.SOLUTION: In the toothbrush, a planar installation handle part 2 is formed in the tip end of a handle 1, and a finger hold part 5 which is a finger hold during toothbrushing is formed in the intermediate part in the longitudinal direction of the handle. Toothbrushing bristles 3 are implanted on one face of the installation handle part 2, and with tongue coating scraping teeth projectingly set on the other face of the installation handle part, the installation handle part 2 is designed to be used for both toothbrushing and tongue coating removal. Three rows of bristle bundle includes two rows of outer bristle bundle part 6 which are implanted on both side portions in the width direction of the installation handle part 2 and one row of inner bristle bundle part 7 which is implanted between the two rows of the bristle bundle part. The two rows of the outer bristle bundle part 6 are horseshoe-shaped by being formed arcuately bulged in a direction receding from each other toward the outer side of the installation handle part 2. The inner bristle bundle part 7 is shaped upright having a length which is housed inside the horseshoe shape formed by the two rows of the outer bristle bundle part. The tongue coating scraping teeth are projectingly installed with prescribed spaces apart in the length or the width direction of the installation handle part.
