PURPOSE: An apparatus for radiography and a control method thereof are provided to automatically transfer a detector to a horizontal direction with a simple operation.CONSTITUTION: A radiation scanning part(10) irradiates radiation to a n object. A detector(20) records radiation which is irradiated from the radiation scanning part and transmits the object. An input part inputs the change of location of the detector. An arm(30) comprises a motor for up and down movement of the radiation scanning part and a motor for rotation of the detector. The arm is combined with a guide(41) to be possible to rotate.
