The invention provides activated carbon comprising adsorbed iodine and/or an adsorbed iodide salt selected from the group of alkali metal iodides and earth alkali iodides, for use in a method for chronic fatigue syndrom optionally together with a suitable bromide salt. Furthermore, the invention provides a pharmaceutical composition containing such activated carbon as well as methods of using such activated carbon for treating chronic fatigue syndrom.La présente invention concerne du charbon actif comprenant de liode adsorbé et/ou un sel iodure adsorbé choisi dans le groupe comprenant des iodures de métaux alcalins et des iodures de métaux alcalino-terreux, et destiné à être utilisé dans un procédé de traitement dun syndrome de fatigue chronique, éventuellement conjointement avec un sel bromure approprié.
