The present invention relates to an apparatus for detecting a pest, which can detect presence of a pest to minimize damage to a wooden building, caused by a pest. The apparatus comprises: a body unit formed in the shape of rectangular lumber that is extended to be long in a longitudinal direction, wherein at least one groove portion having an opening of which one side is opened for a pest to enter is formed on one surface； a stopper installed in the opening to isolate the groove portion from the outside； and a sensor unit detecting a change in an amount of food of the pest, filled in the groove portion.본 발명은 해충에 의한 목조 건축물의 손상을 최소화하기 위해 해충의 존재여부를 탐지할 수 있는 해충 탐지 장치에 관한 것으로서, 길이 방향으로 길게 연장되는 각재 형상으로 형성되고, 해충이 출입할 수 있도록 일측이 개방된 개구가 형성되는 적어도 하나의 홈부가 일면에 형성되는 본체부와, 상기 홈부를 외부와 격리시킬 수 있도록 상기 개구에 설치되는 마개 및 상기 홈부에 채워진 상기 해충의 먹이 양의 변화를 감지하는 센서부를 포함할 수 있다.
