PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a stent delivery system with improved operability in indwelling a stent in a narrow section of a living organism.SOLUTION: A stent delivery system 1A for indwelling a stent 10A in a living organism includes: a cylindrical member 20A; a shaft-like member 30 arranged inside the cylindrical member 20A to advance and retreat in an axial direction; and an operation mechanism 50A which moves the cylindrical member 20A and the shaft-like member 30 in opposite directions with respect to the axial direction in linkage with each other. The operation mechanism 50A includes an operation board 510 provided on a proximal end side, a direction conversion part 520 which is fixed on the operation board 510 and can convert a direction of power for moving the cylindrical member 20A or the shaft-like member 30 in the axial direction into the opposite direction, and a transmission member 530A for transmitting the power between the cylindrical member 20A and the shaft-like member 30.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1【課題】ステントを生体内の狭窄部に留置する際の操作性を向上させたステントデリバリーシステムを提供すること。【解決手段】ステント10Aを生体内に留置するためのステントデリバリーシステム1Aであって、筒状部材20Aと、筒状部材20Aの内側に軸方向に進退可能に配置される軸状部材30と、筒状部材20Aと軸状部材30とを軸方向に逆方向に連動して移動させる操作機構50Aと、を備え、操作機構50Aは、基端側に設けられる操作基盤510と、操作基盤510に固定されており、筒状部材20A又は軸状部材30を軸方向に移動させる動力の向きを逆方向に変換可能な方向変換部520と、筒状部材20Aと軸状部材30との間で動力を伝達する伝達部材530Aと、を有する。【選択図】図1
