PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a printing system of a simple construction, for making printing on eggs by laser beams, enabling the visuality of letters printed on such eggs to be improved.SOLUTION: The printing system 3 makes printing on the top of eggs 8 standing upright, comprising: one laser head 31a for emitting laser beams； a reflective mirror 34a to reflect laser beams emitted from the one laser head 31a toward the top of the eggs 8 from above the top of the eggs 8； a scanning mechanism section 32 to make printing on the top of the eggs 8 by laser beams emitted from the one laser head 31a by scanning the laser beams in a first direction D1 and a second direction D2 rectangular to the first direction D1； and a control section 36 to control the scanning mechanism section 32 so that: laser beams emitted from the one laser head 31a print an annular letter row with the top end 8a of the top of the eggs 8 as the center when the eggs 8 are viewed from above.【課題】卵にレーザビームで印字する印字装置において、簡易な構成で、卵に印字する文字の視認性を向上させることができる印字装置を提供すること。【解決手段】印字装置３は、立てられた状態の卵８の頂部に印字する印字装置３であって、レーザビームを出射する１つのレーザヘッド３１ａと、１つのレーザヘッド３１ａから出射されるレーザビームを卵８の頂部の上方側から卵８の頂部に向けて反射させる反射ミラー３４ａ有し、１つのレーザヘッド３１ａから出射されるレーザビームを第１方向Ｄ１及び第１方向Ｄ１に直交する第２方向Ｄ２に走査することで、レーザビームにより卵８の頂部に印字させる走査機構部３２と、１つのレーザヘッド３１ａから出射されるレーザビームが、卵８を上方側から視た場合に卵８の頂部の上端部８ａを中心とする円環状の文字列を印字するように、走査機構部３２を制御する制御部３６と、を備える。【選択図】図３
