The present invention relates to a device for disposing of food waste generated in a home or a restaurant. The purpose of the present invention is to provide a food waste disposer having a single driving motor so as to simultaneously rotate multiple impellers in forward and reverse directions coaxially such that, by improving the food waste disposal efficiency, the disposal time is shortened, and the food waste disposer having a UV module mounted inside a shredding/drying barrel so as to directly emit ultraviolet rays such that, when food waste is stored, shredded, and dried, the same is sterilized while suppressing odor and preventing microorganism proliferation. To this end, the present invention is characterized in that 1) the same comprises a third impeller for primarily shredding food waste and a first fixed impeller, a first impeller, a second fixed impeller, and a second impeller, which are provided beneath the third impeller so as to secondarily micro-shred the food waste, and the first impeller, the second impeller, and the third impeller simultaneously rotate in forward and reverse directions coaxially. The present invention is further characterized in that 2) a UV module is mounted in a separate space inside an outer case that surrounds the shredding/drying barrel, and the UV module is moved, if needed, and sterilized and deodorized.
