The scope unit 100 includes: an insertion part a flexure part provided in the insertion part a flexure drive part 160 for driving the curved part an imaging part 11 provided at the insertion part to obtain an image of the specimen and a configuration storage part 195 storing drive parameters based on the configuration of the scope unit. The main unit 20 includes: an operation part 40 for performing operation input for operating the flexure drive part 160 at least and a control part 90 for controlling the flexure drive part 160 based on the drive parameters stored in a storage part 92.
