A garden tool adjustment for a garden tool having a working head (11), a handle (13) and a shaft (12) intermediate the working head (11) and handle (13). The shaft (12) is slidably mounted within the handle (13) to provide adjustment of the length of the tool. The shaft (12) is lockable at a desired tool length by means of a clamp assembly (30) including a clamp body (34) rotatable upon a clamp shaft (31) between a locked position, in which adjustment of the shaft (12) within the handle (13) is prevented, and an unlocked position in which adjustment of the shaft (12) within the handle (13) is possible.
