A cervical collar (10) having a vertically adjustable chin support (12), the collar (10) including a chin support (12) adjustably connected to a collar body (14) having a stop guide (56), an adjustment member (80) for adjusting the length of a cable (60) trained around a pulley (52) located on the collar body (14) adjacent to the cable guide (50) and connected to a cable stop (54) connecting between the collar body (14) and the chin support (12) and movably positionable along the stop guide (56) on the collar body (14), wherein the length of the cable (60) adjusts the position of the cable stop (54) along the stop guide (56) and adjusts the vertical position of the chin support (12) relative to the collar body (14).
