PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an auxiliary tool for an endoscope, reliably fitted to an insert part.
SOLUTION: This auxiliary tool 4 for an endoscope includes: a connecting member 17 for penetrating the insert part 2 of the endoscope through the interior thereof a pressing member 19 removably attached to the outer peripheral surface of the connecting member and a support plate 21, supported between the connecting member and the pressing member, for separating the insert part from the inner peripheral surface of a subject in which the insert part is inserted. The outer peripheral surface of the connecting member is provided with an equal diameter part 28 where the outside diameter is uniform in a predetermined range in the direction of an axis C1 of the connecting member and a male screw part 29. The inner peripheral surface of the pressing member is provided with a holding part where a ring-like sliding member 53 whose inside diameter is smaller than the outside diameter of the equal diameter part is held and a first female screw part 51 and a second female screw part 52 which are disposed at a space between them and screwed to the male screw part. The sliding member is set to locate within the range of the equal diameter part in the axial direction of the connecting member when the second female screw part is screwed to the male screw part.
