PURPOSE: A windbreak for a garden and a manufacturing method thereof are provided to reduce damages by an anti-snow agent with improved structural strength and wind protecting effect. CONSTITUTION: A rice straw board(10) is extended by weaving rice straws which are extended vertically with a first tightening string in a horizontal direction. A rice straw protection curtain(20) is attached to the outside surface of the rice straw board to be extended in parallel with the rice straw board, by using a second tightening string(24). A rice straw board supporting stand(30) is attached to both sides of the rice straw board to be extended in a vertical direction. The first tightening string includes a first warp string(141) and a second warp string(142) which intersect with each other in a cross sectional direction of the rice straw board.
