PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To smoothly take out a seedling to be transplanted from a raising-seedling pot and to prevent transplant work from stagnating in a transplanter using a tray.SOLUTION: A transplanter performs planting work by placing a tray connecting many raising-seedling pots 21 vertically and horizontally on a front face side on a seedling base of a tray feed device and taking out the seedling in the raising-seedling pot 21 with a taking-out jaw of a taking-out device and feed the seeding to a planting tool. Cutting blades 30, 31 cutting roots of a seedling extended from the seedling-raising pot 21 are arranged on a feed rod 221 entering/retreating with respect to an inter-pot groove D between the seedling-raising pots 21 from a bottom face side of the tray on the seedling base and feeding a tray 20 to a seedling taking-out position.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 8
