The present invention relates to a method for producing an animal model of preterm birth and to an animal model of preterm birth using same. The method for producing an animal model of preterm birth according to the present invention can provide an animal model of preterm birth which can be effectively applied to the investigation of the causes and symptoms of preterm birth induced by damage to the cervix. Further, despite being an animal model of induced preterm birth, said animal model does not have a high mortality rate in the process until preterm birth, has the highest yield among existing models, gives preterm birth at a desired time, and thus can be effectively applied to the investigation of causes and mechanisms of preterm birth. A neonate born of the animal model of preterm birth according to the present invention has a significantly low mortality rate and is immature and thus can be effectively applied to research on the complications of a preterm neonate.La présente invention concerne un procédé de production d'un modèle animal de naissance prématurée et un modèle animal de naissance prématurée utilisant celui-ci. Le procédé de production d'un modèle animal de naissance prématurée selon la présente invention peut fournir un modèle animal de naissance prématurée qui peut être efficacement appliqué à l'étude des causes et des symptômes de naissance prématurée induite par une lésion du col de l'utérus.
