A disposable diaper comprising an absorbent assembly and a stretchable side panel, wherein the absorbent assembly comprises an elongated absorbiruyushy member and divided into a front portion, a rear portion and a crotch portion, the stretchable side panel is connected to each lateral side of the rear portion of said absorbent assembly, wherein side panel comprises an inner sheet disposed on its side facing the skin, the outer sheet disposed on its side, unconverted to the skin, and a plurality of elastic elements fixed s between the inner sheet and the outer sheet, and having a fastening tape which is connected with each lateral side part thereof, wherein the fastening tape comprises the base sheet and the hook material, while on the distal portion of the base sheet has a plurality of engaging protrusions, the plurality of elastic members, each of which extends in the lateral direction of the disposable diaper and has a stretchable portion, wherein the elastic member is attached in a stretched state, and the unstretchable portion, wherein the elastic member n ikreplen in its unstretched condition adjacent the distal end of elongated portion, the portion of the side panel is located on the expandable parts of the plurality of elastic elements assembled to form a plurality of pleats, each of which extends in a direction crossing the elastic members, and wherein the sheet base fastener tape bent back to the start of use, so that the hook material is converted directly to the inner side panel sheet, and wherein the hook material extends from the part dis1.
