ABSTRACT The present invention relates to an improved support device providing immobilization and comfortable position for the accelerated healing of the injured arm, comprising of : an adjustable arm sling (112) and a waist band (113). The strain of user caused by supporting the injured arm is shared between the said arm sling (112) and the said waist band (113) of the supporting device of the present invention, thereby providing a greater comfort for the user. The supporting device of the present invention provides better support for the user, since the said arm sling (112) and the said waist band (113) are adjustable according to the need of the user.
