FIELD: transport.SUBSTANCE: method for transportation and storage of plant products in hermetically closed rooms or in closed containers includes plant products processing by ozone-air mixture with ozone concentration of 25-35 mg/m3, at exposure of 2.85-3.15 h, temperature conditions of 12-16°C and relative humidity of 40-60%. In this method, concentration of air ions "n+" in ozone-air mixture is provided at level of 40000 to 50000 ion/cm3. Processing conditions are selected depending on type of plant products and duration of their storage. After processing by ozone-air mixture has been done, gaseous helium is supplied to closed room or container and in this process, gage pressure is provided in the range of 1.55 to 2.5·104 Pa. During products transportation or storage, electric current is passed through gaseous environment of room or container with products and emission colour is visually controlled which is identified as decrease in helium concentration and increase in air concentration in room or container.
