PURPOSE: A kimchi container having a multi-purpose inner cover is provided to prevent an upper side of kimchi from getting dry, and to offer pressing function to make better taste of kimchi with a double cover for storing kimchi. CONSTITUTION: A kimchi container having multi-purpose inner cover comprises the following: a main body(10) of a cylindrical form having an opening(11) to receive Kimchi； a container cover(30) opening and closing the opening of the main body； an inner cover(50) in which one or more handle parts(61) are formed； and a support unit supporting the inner cover, is prepared on the inner side surface of the main body or the bottom surface of the container cover. The supporting unit includes one or more support protrusion parts(15). The inner cover includes a cover main body part(51), a skirt part(53), and a gas discharging part(55).본 발명은, 김치를 수용하도록 개구부를 갖는 통형상의 용기본체와； 상기 용기본체의 개구부를 개폐하는 용기커버와； 상기 용기본체에 수용되어 상기 김치의 상부면를 커버할 수 있으며, 적어도 하나의 손잡이부가 형성된 내부덮개와； 상기 용기본체 내측면 및 용기커버 하부면 중 적어도 하나에 마련되어 상기 내부덮개를 지지하는 지지수단을 포함하는 것을 특징으로 한다. 이에 의하여, 김치 상부면이 마르는 것을 방지하는 덮개로서의 용도와 김치 맛이 잘 들도록 하는 누름판으로서의 용도와 동치미 등 물이 많은 김치종류에 있어서도 다른 곳에 보관해야 하는 불편함 없이 2중 뚜껑의 용도로도 사용할 수 있는 다용도 내부덮개를 갖는 김치용기를 제공할 수 있다.
