PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a green space with high mental/physiological effect on people.SOLUTION: The green space evaluation apparatus includes: an image in which a land to be maintained is imaged according to peoples field of vision a relative illuminance for indicating an illuminance inside of the land compared to an illuminance outside of the land and a storage unit for storing the presence/absence of covering of tall/subtall trees in the land. The green space evaluation apparatus accepts the input of the image and stores in the storage unit, accepts the input of the relative illuminance and stores in the storage unit, accepts the input of the presence/absence of covering of the tall/subtall trees and stores in the storage unit, extracts a green region included in the stored image and calculates a green view rate which indicates a ratio of the extracted green region to the entire region of the image, determines whether conditions are met such as the calculated green view rate is within the determined range, the relative illuminance is within the determined range, and the covering of the tall/subtall trees is present, and outputs the determination result.COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT【課題】人間に対する心理的、生理的効果が高い緑地を提供する。【解決手段】整備対象の土地を人間の視野に合わせて撮像した画像と、土地外における照度に対する土地内における照度の比率を示す相対照度と、土地における高木・亜高木の被覆の有無とが記憶される記憶部を備えた緑地評価装置が、画像の入力を受付けて記憶部に記憶させ、相対照度の入力を受付けて記憶部に記憶させ、高木・亜高木の被覆の有無の入力を受付けて記憶部に記憶させ、記憶された画像に含まれる緑色の領域を抽出し、抽出した緑色の領域が画像全体の領域に占める割合を示す緑視率を算出し、算出した緑視率が定められた範囲内であり、かつ、相対照度が定められた範囲内であり、かつ、高木・亜高木の被覆が有ることの条件を満たすか否かを判定し、判定結果を出力する。【選択図】図1
