PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a stand for a flex grip fishing rod, which can be held in a standing state stably and reliably with a simple operation by skillfully using a centroid movement of the rod, in the case of the fishing rod with a flex grip.SOLUTION: A stand for storing a fishing rod R having a flex grip G is provided. An upper beam 1 and a lower beam 2 are laterally bridged in a far side and in a near side respectively between a pair of struts 3, 3. A recess 11 is formed in a side edge of the near side of the upper beam 1. Meanwhile, a cylindrical bracket pipe 4 having an insertion hole 41 is pivoted in the lower beam 2.
