Device for vaginal access to the uterus of a female livestock animal for the purpose of performing a transfer of material or for collecting samples, said device comprising a body integrally connected to gripping means, a first passage extending through the device and opening out at its two ends in order to establish an access route between the inside and the outside of the animal, characterized in that the body is straight and rigid in order to permit its introduction into the vagina of the animal, and that a cup is provided at its distal end, a projection extending from the bottom of the cup and having a through-hole in communication with the first passage, the cup having an orifice in communication with a second passage extending through the body and connected to suction means, by which it is possible to place the cup flat against the fornix of the neck of the uterus, with viewing means likewise being provided in order to permit viewing at the front of said cup.Dispositif pour accéder à l'utérus d'un animal de rente femelle par voie vaginale pour réaliser un transfert ou un prélèvement, comprenant un ensemble corps solidaire de moyens de préhension, un premier passage traversant le dispositif et débouchant à ses deux extrémités pour établir une voie d'accès entre l'intérieur et l'extérieur de l'animal, caractérisé par le fait que l'ensemble corps est droit et rigide pour permettre son introduction dans le vagin de l'animal et qu'est prévue une cupule à son extrémité distale, une saillie s'étendant à partir du fond de la cupule et ayant un trou traversant en communication avec le premier passage, la cupule présentant un orifice en communication avec un second passage traversant l'ensemble corps et relié à des moyens d'aspiration permettant de plaquer la cupule contre le fornix du col de l'utérus, des moyens de vision étant également prévus pour permettre une vision au devant de ladite cupule.
