PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide diagnostic methods which can detect infections by plant pathogens more rapidly and highly accurately.SOLUTION: The present invention provides a method of diagnosing infections by plant pathogens comprising a rooting step of rooting by planting a part of a plant into a rooting bed to plant a cutting, and a first detection step of detecting the presence or absence of pathogens using the rooted root.
