PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fishing reel capable of maintaining stable winding operation property, achieving good feel, and improving operation property of flip winding.SOLUTION: The fishing reel of the invention comprises: a spool； a handle shaft 12 which is rotatably supported on one side plate of the reel body, and to which a handle arm 10a is attached； a drive mechanism 30 for rotating and driving the spool by rotation operation of the handle arm； and a brake force adjustment body 22 on which a plurality of operation parts 22b are protruded and formed in a radial direction at a prescribed interval in a circumferential direction of a base part 22a attached to the handle shaft 12.
