A transmitting device is used to a plant cultivating equipment which includes a layer frame and cultivating troughs installed on the layer frame. Each of the cultivating troughs has a pushed portion. The transmitting device includes at least one driving unit, at least one base and a plurality of drag elements. The base is connected to the driving unit, and the driving unit drives the base to reciprocate. The drag elements are pivotally disposed on the base and located between the layer frame and the cultivating troughs. When the drag elements are moved by the base along with a forward direction, the each of the drag elements leans against the pressed portion of corresponding one of the cultivating troughs, and the drag elements derive the cultivating troughs to move along with the forward direction. When the each drag element is moved by the base along with a backward direction, the each drag element leans against the pressed portion of another cultivating through to rotate back and forth.
