PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a visual line detection device that can detect a users visual direction regardless of brightness in an ambient environment and suppress increase of a processing time required for detecting a visual line.SOLUTION: The visual line detection device 1 includes: a light source 2 that lights a users face an imaging part 3 that generates a plurality of original images by photographing the users face several times under a certain exposure condition an image generating part 13 that generates first a synthesized image by synthesizing an original image, which is a first number, and generates a second synthesized image by synthesizing the original image, which is a second number, being more than the first one a face detection part 14 that detects the users face from the first synthesized image a purukinje images detection part 15 that detects a users pupil and a purukinje image of the light source 2 from the second synthesized image and a visual line detection part 16 that detects the users visual direction based on a positional relationship between the users pupil and the purukinje images of the light source 2.
