PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a traveling vehicle control system to control so that the vehicle automatically travels toward a target lump.

SOLUTION: The traveling vehicle control system works as follows: a camera photographs a target lump situated in the direction of a target for the vehicles traveling an image processor 32 processes an image photographed by the camera a traveling vehicle control section 36 controls the vehicles travel so as to travel on a target traveling line determined based on the relationship between the position of the target image included in the photographed image and the vehicles initial position a yaw angle detector 42 detects a yaw angle of the vehicle from the photographed image to the target part a leteral deviation calculating section 50 calculates a lateral deviation off the target traveling line based on the photographed image and the traveling vehicle control section 36 controls the travel of the vehicle based on the yaw angle and the lateral deviation.
