PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical cable capable of avoiding an impact of a fluctuation in an optical path length of measurement light without causing a transmission route of the measurement light and reference light to be a common optical path, and an optical image diagnostic apparatus using the optical cable.SOLUTION: In an optical image diagnostic apparatus 12A, an optical cable 10A connects an operation control device 18 and a drive unit 16 optically. The optical cable 10A includes an optical fiber 60 for measurement and an optical fiber 76 for reference. The optical fiber 60 for measurement and the optical fiber 76 for reference are arranged in parallel in the optical cable 10A.
