The present invention relates to a nutritional composition, for infants and young children (about 12 to 36 months) in which the sum of the triacylglycerols (TAG) sn-1(3) palmitic acid (PA), myristic acid (MA) and stearic acid (SA) constitutes less than 13.0% of the TAG. The composition promotes absorption of fatty acids and calcium in the gut, improves gut comfort, decreases abdominal pain associated with hard stool formation, promotes regular bowel movements and reduces the incidence and severity of constipation in infants and young children (up to the age of about three years old). The composition also promotes bone mineralization, increasing bone strength and bone mineral density.La présente invention concerne une composition nutritionnelle, destinée aux nourrissons et aux jeunes enfants (d'environ 12 à 36 mois), dans laquelle la somme des triacylglycérols (TAG) sn-1(3) acide palmitique (PA), acide myristique (MA) et acide stéarique (SA) constitue moins de 13,0 % du TAG. La composition favorise l'absorption des acides gras et du calcium dans l'intestin, améliore le confort intestinal, réduit les douleurs abdominales associées à la formation de selles dures, favorise les mouvements normaux de l'intestin et réduit l'incidence et la gravité de la constipation chez les nourrissons et les jeunes enfants (jusqu'à l'âge d'environ trois ans). La composition favorise également la minéralisation osseuse, la force croissante des os et la densité de minéralisation osseuse.
