PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reconstitute images by a contrast tomographic method into high quality images in a small number of views.SOLUTION: An X-ray source 13 emits X-rays. An X-ray detector 15 is apart from a subject S by a prescribed distance, detects X-rays emitted from the X-ray source 13 and transmitting through the subject S, and outputs intensity data showing the intensity of the X-rays transmitted through the subject S. A phase retrieval unit 351 determines an X-ray phase on the surface of the subject S on the basis of the intensity output from the X-ray detector 15 and relating to the prescribed distance and the intensity relating to the surface of the subject S.
