The present invention relates to the cosmetic use of topical application of an extract of chicorium intybus, in order to increase the expression of lox and to increase the architecture of the epidermis. It also relates to a process for the care cosmetics, comprising applying at least one zone concerned of the intact skin of an extract of chicorium intybus or of a cosmetic composition comprising such an extract in order to increase the expression of lox and to improve the architecture of the epidermis.
