PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method to treat neurological diseases, including lysosomal storage diseases.SOLUTION: The treatment method uses intraventricular delivery of the therapeutic agents to bypass the blood-brain barrier. The method delivers an agent to a patient's brain, wherein the method comprises administering the agent to the patient via a lateral ventricle of the brain at a rate such that the administration of a single dose consumes more than two hours. Similarly, diagnostic agents and anesthetic agents can be delivered to the brain in this manner. The administration can be performed slowly to achieve maximum effect. Such administration permits greater penetration of distal portions of the brain.【課題】リソソーム蓄積症を含む、神経系の疾患の治療方法の提供。【解決手段】血液脳関門のバイパスへの治療剤の脳室内送達を用いる治療方法。即ち患者の脳に薬剤を送達する方法であって、単回投与が２時間を超える時間を費やすような投与の速度で、脳の側脳室を経由して患者へ薬剤を投与することを含む方法。同様に、診断剤および麻酔剤もこのようにして脳に送達できる。投与は最大の効果を得るために遅速性で行うことができる。このような投与は脳の末梢部へのより大きな浸透を可能とする。【選択図】なし
