PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for simultaneously performing surface modification and sterilization treatment of a cell culture substrate by using active oxygen at a low cost and very simply, and a sterilization container used in the field of biological study, medicine, or pharmacy.SOLUTION: There is provided a method for simultaneously performing surface modification and sterilization treatment of a container having a cell culture substrate which is used in the field of biological study, medicine, or pharmacy by active oxygen.
