PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve such problems as inability to supply concentrated oxygen gas to a patient because an oxygen concentrator stops at an occurrence of a power failure and burden being imposed on the patient during a switch-over of connection in preparing an oxygen cylinder and switching the connection of an oxygen discharge tool from the oxygen concentrator to the oxygen cylinder as a countermeasure, as well as high cost involved for an emergency battery capable of operating the oxygen concentrator.SOLUTION: An oxygen supply unit 1 includes a first oxygen supply passage 5 which generates concentrated oxygen gas using power supplied from a commercial power supply and supplies the gas to a cannula 4 (an oxygen discharge tool), a second oxygen supply passage 6 for supplying the concentrated oxygen gas accumulated in advance in an oxygen cylinder 31 to the cannula 4 without using the power supplied from the commercial power supply, and a switching valve 33 for switching the oxygen supply passage for supplying the concentrated oxygen gas to the cannula 4 from the first oxygen supply passage 5 to the second oxygen supply passage 6 at an occurrence of a power failure.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1COPYRIGHT: (C)2016,JPO&INPIT【課題】停電が発生した場合、酸素濃縮装置が停止してしまうので、酸素濃縮ガスを患者に供給できない。その対策として、酸素ボンベを用意して、酸素排出器具を酸素濃縮装置から酸素ボンベに繋ぎ替える場合、繋ぎ替える間、患者に負担がかかる。また、酸素濃縮装置を運転可能な非常用のバッテリを備える場合、コストがかかる。【解決手段】この酸素供給ユニット1は、商用電源から供給される電力を利用することにより、酸素濃縮ガスを生成し、カニューラ4(酸素排出器具)に供給する第1酸素供給経路5と、商用電源から供給される電力を利用せずに、予め酸素ボンベ31に貯留された酸素濃縮ガスをカニューラ4に供給する第2酸素供給経路6と、酸素濃縮ガスをカニューラ4に供給する酸素供給経路を、停電発生時に、第1酸素供給経路5から第2酸素供給経路6に切り替える切替弁33とを有する。【選択図】図1
